One Piece TCG Color Pairs: All 15 Combinations

A One Piece deck uses its Leader's colors, so a two-color deck needs a two-color Leader. As of October 2026 every one of the fifteen possible pairs has at least one. This is the index of all fifteen, with how many Leaders each has and a page on how each one plays.

What each of the six colors does on its own (Red's power, Green's resting, Blue's draw and bounce, Purple's DON!!, Black's cost removal, Yellow's Life) is covered in One Piece TCG colors. Start there if the colors are new to you. This page is about what happens when two of them share a deck.

The rule is short: every card in your deck must share a color with your Leader (Comprehensive Rules 5-1-2-2), so a Red/Green Leader lets you play Red cards and Green cards. Every two-color card Bandai has printed is a Leader, so the Leader is the only card in the deck with both colors. As of October 2026, Bandai's English card list has 68 two-color Leaders, 52 of them legal in Standard.

Leaders per pair

Each cell is the number of Leaders in that pair as of October 2026, with the number legal in Standard in parentheses. Select one to open its page.

Pairs with a starter deck

A starter deck with a Leader in the pair is the cheapest way to try it: the 50 cards are already built around that Leader.

Pairs built from booster cards

No English starter deck has a Leader in these pairs as of October 2026, so a deck starts from singles or boosters.

Cards that reward a two-color Leader

Some single-color cards check whether your Leader is multicolored, so they are stronger in any of the fifteen pairs than in a one-color deck. A few from Standard-legal sets, one or two per color:

Three colors and more

No numbered Leader has three or more colors as of October 2026. The only Leader with more is a six-color Monkey.D.Luffy, printed without a card number for Bandai's designated events such as Sealed Battle. Its text says it can only be used in those events and counts as every card name, type and attribute, so it isn't a pair and has no page here.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many color pairs are there in the One Piece TCG?

Fifteen. Six colors make fifteen two-color pairs, and as of October 2026 Bandai has printed at least one two-color Leader in every one of them, so all fifteen can be built.

How many two-color Leaders are there?

As of October 2026, 68 on Bandai's English card list, counted once per card number. 52 of them are legal in Standard; the rest rotated out with block 1 on April 1, 2026, apart from one that is banned.

Which One Piece color pair has the most Leaders?

Red/Green, with 8 as of October 2026, 6 of them legal in Standard. Green/Purple, Green/Black and Purple/Black have the fewest in Standard, with 2 each.

Are there two-color Characters or Events in the One Piece TCG?

Not as of October 2026. Every two-color card on Bandai's English card list is a Leader, so in a two-color deck the Leader is the only card with both colors and the other 50 cards are each one color.

Can a One Piece deck have three colors?

Not in normal play. No numbered Leader has more than two colors. The one exception is a six-color Monkey.D.Luffy Leader printed for Bandai's designated events such as Sealed Battle, whose own text says it can only be used in those events.
