The set that introduced N, the Supporter that resets both players' hands to their remaining Prize cards. Its full-art N is also its most valuable card, just ahead of the full-art Victini.

Five Noble Victories chase cards fanned out: Cobalion, Victini, N in front, Meowth and Terrakion.

Overview

Release date November 16, 2011
Set code NVI
Cards 101 numbered, 102 in total
Series Black & White
Complete set as singles $875.20 on Oct 22
Regulation mark None, printed before regulation marks

Noble Victories is the third Black & White set: 101 cards up to the printed total and one secret rare, Meowth (102/101). Victini is its face, with four cards of its own, among them the Victory Star Ability that lets you flip coins again.

For players, the set is N. Each player shuffles their hand into their deck and draws a card for each of their remaining Prize cards, which helps whoever is behind. N was reprinted in Dark Explorers and again in XY's Fates Collide.

Cards and rarities

Noble Victories has 102 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "1/101", next to the set code NVI.

The printed total is 101, so only Meowth, 102/101, is a secret rare. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Noble Victories, bought as singles, cost $875.20 on October 22, 2026. That is the 9th most expensive of the twelve sets in the Black & White series.

Complete set $875.20
Main set, 1 to 101 $761.43
1 secret rare $113.77
Top three cards $565.01 (65%)

The three most valuable cards, N, Victini and Meowth, come to $565.01, or 65% of the total. Without them the set costs $310.19. Of the 102 cards, 76 were under $2.00, together $47.88; the other 26 add up to $827.32.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

No Noble Victories card carries a regulation mark, so none is Standard-legal as printed. Standard has allowed only the H, I and J marks since April 10, 2026. Noble Victories is legal in Expanded, which takes every set from Black & White on, except for Archeops (67/101), on the Expanded banned list.

A reprint with a legal mark makes older printings of the same card legal again, so check a card's name before you rule it out.
