Star Wars: Unlimited · 2024 Set Guide
The second Star Wars: Unlimited set went to the Underworld. Smuggle plays cards out of your resources, Bounty pays your opponent when a unit falls, and units can now capture each other.
Shadows of the Galaxy is the second Star Wars: Unlimited set. Its 262 cards are 160 units, 46 events, 30 upgrades, 18 leaders and 8 bases, and the Underworld is its subject: the trait is on 80 cards, with Mandalorian on 28 and Bounty Hunter on 23.
It added two keywords. Smuggle, on 24 cards, lets you play a card from among your resources for the cost printed beside the keyword, then replace it with the top card of your deck. Bounty, on 13 cards and granted by more, gives your opponent a reward when that unit is defeated or captured.
Capture is the set's other new idea, and 34 cards mention it. A captured unit goes facedown under the unit that captured it and comes back when that unit leaves play. The set has 30 upgrades, more than twice Spark of Rebellion's 14, and The Darksaber is one of them.
Shadows of the Galaxy rotated out of Premier when A Lawless Time released in March 2026. Its cards are still legal in Eternal.
Shadows of the Galaxy has 262 cards. Each shows its set code, SHD, and its number along the bottom, and the set's other versions are numbered past the printed total.
The printed total is 262. The Experience and Shield tokens are numbered apart, T01 and T02, with Hyperspace versions T03 and T04.
Each version has its own collector number, which is how TurnZero HQ, the scanner and set completion tell them apart. A foil does not: in 2024 sets a foil shares the number of the card it is a foil of, so a card's page shows its Normal and Foil prices side by side. There are no Prestige cards or Carbonite packs in 2024 sets; both began with Jump to Lightspeed in 2025. The catalog lists 526 printings of Shadows of the Galaxy in all. Telling the versions apart →
Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set from 1 to its printed total and keeps the Hyperspace, Showcase and Prestige versions apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing its versions read as two separate goals. How set completion works →
All 18 leaders pair a main aspect with Heroism or Villainy. Several are built around the new mechanics: Hondo Ohnaka and Lando Calrissian reward Smuggle, Bossk collects a Bounty twice, and Jabba the Hutt captures when he deploys. Four to know:
Cad Bane, He Who Needs No Introduction
Shadows of the Galaxy #014
Deals damage when you play an Underworld card, to a unit your opponent chooses. The set's chase card as a Showcase.
The Mandalorian, Sworn to the Creed
Shadows of the Galaxy #018
A Special leader: exhausts an enemy unit when you play an upgrade.
Jabba the Hutt, His High Exaltdeness
Shadows of the Galaxy #006
Gives a unit a Bounty that makes your next unit cheaper. When deployed, another friendly unit captures an enemy unit.
Gar Saxon, Viceroy of Mandalore
Shadows of the Galaxy #001
Each friendly upgraded unit gets +1/+0, and deployed, returns an upgrade to hand when its unit is defeated.

A card with Smuggle can be played while it is one of your resources, for the cost and aspects printed beside the keyword, which are higher than its normal cost. The top card of your deck takes its place as a resource, so you lose nothing on the board. Hotshot DL-44 Blaster costs 1 from your hand, or 3 by Smuggle, and played that way its unit attacks at once.
Bounty is a reward for your opponent. When a unit with a Bounty is defeated or captured, the opponent collects it: Val's Bounty deals 3 damage to a unit. Capture puts an enemy unit facedown under one of yours until your unit leaves play, and Finalizer has each of your units capture one when it is played.
The set's most valuable Normal cards on October 22, 2026:

Shadows of the Galaxy #037
An 8-cost 6/6. Each enemy non-leader unit gets -2/-2.
Kylo's TIE Silencer, Ruthlessly Efficient
Shadows of the Galaxy #135
A 2-cost 3/2 you can play from your discard pile if it was discarded from your hand or deck this phase.
The Mandalorian, Wherever I Go, He Goes

Shadows of the Galaxy is out of Premier, so its cards are played in Eternal today. Smuggle cards are the reason to look at it: they turn a card you resourced early into a play later, so a Smuggle deck is happier putting cards into its resources than most.
Bounty cuts both ways. A unit with a Bounty is a reward for the opponent who defeats it, so count what you are giving away before you put one on the board, and look for the leaders and cards that collect a Bounty for you.
July 12, 2024. It was the second Star Wars: Unlimited set.
A card with Smuggle can be played from among your resources for the cost printed beside the keyword. The top card of your deck then becomes a resource in its place.
The Showcase Cad Bane, He Who Needs No Introduction, at $180.09 on October 22, 2026, 30 cents ahead of the Showcase The Mandalorian, Sworn to the Creed.
262, numbered 001 to 262, plus two tokens. Counting every Showcase and Hyperspace version and the tokens, the catalog lists 526 printings; foils share their card's number.
