Star Wars: Unlimited · Aspects
Vigilance is Star Wars: Unlimited's blue aspect and its defensive one. It blocks with Sentinels, heals its units and its base, protects units with Shield tokens and carries the game's most complete removal, and its decks usually win by lasting longer than the opponent.
Vigilance is blue, one of the four style aspects. Defense, healing and removal. Sentinels hold the line, Shield tokens and healing keep units alive, Restore keeps the base healthy, and the big answers come late.
It comes from your leader or your base. As of October 2026, 28 of the 108 Premier leaders and 17 bases provide it.
Vigilance is built to survive the early rounds. Its units are the most likely in the game to have Sentinel, which forces enemy attacks in that arena onto them instead of your other units or your base, and the most likely to heal: Restore heals your base when the unit attacks, and other effects heal units directly. A Vigilance deck spends its first few rounds making every attack the opponent declares a bad one.
It also holds the game's cleanest answers. Vigilance has more cards that defeat a unit outright than any other aspect, along with cards that stop specific threats: At Attin Safety Droid caps the damage your base can take at 4 at a time, and Ryder Azadi names a card your opponent can't play while Ryder is in play. At the top of the curve, Nebula Ignition defeats every unit that isn't upgraded.
The plan is to reach the late game with a healthy base and then let expensive, sturdy units take over. Vigilance units tend to have more HP than power, so they win the long trades but rarely end a game quickly on their own.

Weaknesses
Counted from the 1,409 non-leader, non-base cards in the six Premier-legal sets as of October 2026, a reprint counted once. A card with two aspects counts for both.
The most common traits on Vigilance cards: Vehicles, Force users and Imperials, with Rebels, the Underworld and Troopers close behind. Of the 333, 143 print only Vigilance and fit any deck with a Vigilance leader or base; the rest also print Heroism, Villainy or a second style aspect.
Each prints the Vigilance icon and nothing else, so it plays at printed cost under any leader or base that provides Vigilance.

5 cards in the Premier sets print two Vigilance icons, such as Nala Se, Silent Survivor and Size Matters Not. To play one at printed cost, your leader and base together need two Vigilance icons, which usually means a Vigilance base under a Vigilance leader.
A leader with Vigilance almost always pairs it with Heroism or Villainy. One leader from each pairing, not a ranking; each pairing's page has more.

A deck is usually named by its leader's two aspects. These are the 2 pairings that include Vigilance, each with its leaders, signature cards and which base to choose.
Vigilance is blue. Its icon is printed in blue beside a card's cost, and on leaders and bases on the right side of the card.
Defense and removal. As of October 2026, Vigilance has the most Sentinel, Restore, Shielded and Grit cards in the Premier sets, the most healing, and the most cards that defeat a unit outright. It tends to win late, after surviving the opponent's early attacks.
On a leader, Vigilance almost always pairs with Heroism or Villainy, which makes Vigilance Heroism (blue-white) and Vigilance Villainy (blue-black). Any base can then add a third aspect, or a Vigilance base can give you a second Vigilance icon for the few cards that print two.
