Star Wars: Unlimited · 2024 Set Guide
The Clone Wars set. Republic faces Separatist, Coordinate rewards a wide board, Exploit trades your own units for a cheaper card, and the first unit tokens arrived.
Twilight of the Republic is the third Star Wars: Unlimited set and its Clone Wars set. Republic is on 76 of its 257 cards and Separatist on 67, with Clone on 24, Droid on 32 and Jedi on 21.
It added two keywords, each on 23 cards. Coordinate turns an ability on while you control 3 or more units. Exploit lets you defeat units you control as you play a card, and the card costs 2 less for each one.
It also brought the first unit tokens: Battle Droids, 1/1 Separatist units that 26 cards mention, and Clone Troopers, 2/2 Republic units that 17 cards mention. Both are ground units, and both feed Coordinate and Exploit.
Chancellor Palpatine is the first leader with three aspects, Cunning, Heroism and Villainy. He flips between Chancellor Palpatine and Darth Sidious with his own abilities rather than deploying. Twilight of the Republic rotated out of Premier when A Lawless Time released in March 2026, and its cards are still legal in Eternal.
Twilight of the Republic has 257 cards. Each shows its set code, TWI, and its number along the bottom, and the set's other versions are numbered past the printed total.
The printed total is 257. The Battle Droid and Clone Trooper tokens are numbered apart, T01 and T02, with Hyperspace versions T03 and T04.
Each version has its own collector number, which is how TurnZero HQ, the scanner and set completion tell them apart. A foil does not: in 2024 sets a foil shares the number of the card it is a foil of, so a card's page shows its Normal and Foil prices side by side. There are no Prestige cards or Carbonite packs in 2024 sets; both began with Jump to Lightspeed in 2025. The catalog lists 521 printings of Twilight of the Republic in all. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set from 1 to its printed total and keeps the Hyperspace, Showcase and Prestige versions apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing its versions read as two separate goals. How set completion works →
Seventeen leaders pair a main aspect with Heroism or Villainy. Chancellor Palpatine is the exception: he carries Cunning, Heroism and Villainy, and he flips with his own abilities instead of an Epic Action. Four to know:
Yoda, Sensing Darkness
Twilight of the Republic #004
Draws a card when a unit left play this phase. When deployed, defeats an enemy unit that costs no more than a card you discard from your deck. The set's chase card as a Showcase.
Chancellor Palpatine // Darth Sidious, Playing Both Sides
Twilight of the Republic #017
The first three-aspect leader. Flips to Darth Sidious after a Heroism unit is defeated, and back after you play a Villainy card.
Jango Fett, Concealing the Conspiracy
Twilight of the Republic #016
Exhausts an enemy unit when a friendly unit deals damage to it.
Captain Rex, Fighting For His Brothers
Twilight of the Republic #007
Makes Clone Trooper tokens, and deployed, gives each other friendly Trooper +0/+1.
Twelve bases, three in each aspect. The eight commons have 30 HP and no ability. The four rares reward your leader: Pau City (26 HP) gives each leader unit you control +0/+1, Petranaki Arena (26 HP) gives each one +1/+0, Droid Manufactory (24 HP) makes 2 Battle Droid tokens when you deploy a leader, and Shadow Collective Camp (25 HP) draws a card when you do.
| Base | World | Aspect | HP | Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pau City | Utapau | Vigilance | 26 | Rare |
| Sundari | Mandalore | Vigilance | 30 | Common |
| The Crystal City | Christophsis | Vigilance | 30 | Common |
| Droid Manufactory | Geonosis | Command | 24 | Rare |
| Lair of Grievous | Vassek | Command | 30 | Common |
| Tipoca City | Kamino | Command | 30 | Common |
| Shadow Collective Camp | Zanbar | Aggression | 25 | Rare |
| KCM Mining Facility | Mustafar | Aggression | 30 | Common |
| The Nest | Onderon | Aggression | 30 | Common |
| Petranaki Arena | Geonosis | Cunning | 26 | Rare |
| Level 1313 | Coruscant | Cunning | 30 | Common |
| Pyke Palace | Oba Diah | Cunning | 30 | Common |
A Coordinate ability works only while you control 3 or more units, and it switches off when you drop below that. 41st Elite Corps is a 3-cost 3/3 space unit that gets +0/+3 while it is on.
Exploit is printed with a number. While playing the card, you may defeat up to that many units you control, and it costs 2 less for each. The tokens make both work: Multi-Troop Transport has Exploit 2 and makes a Battle Droid each time it attacks.

Twilight of the Republic is out of Premier, so its cards are played in Eternal today. Its two keywords want the same thing, a board full of small units, and the tokens supply them: a Coordinate deck counts to three, and an Exploit deck turns spare tokens into a discount.
Exploit is only a good trade when the units you defeat are worth less than the 2 resources each one saves. Tokens almost always are; a unit that has already used its When Played ability often is too.
November 8, 2024. It was the third Star Wars: Unlimited set.
Exploit has a number. While playing the card you may defeat up to that many units you control, and the card costs 2 less for each unit defeated this way.
The Showcase Yoda, Sensing Darkness, at $206.43 on October 22, 2026, with the Showcase Jango Fett, Concealing the Conspiracy close behind at $202.26.
257, numbered 001 to 257, plus two tokens. Counting every Showcase and Hyperspace version and the tokens, the catalog lists 521 printings; foils share their card's number.
