Top rarity Secret Rare

Dragons of Legend released April 25, 2014, with 51 cards under the DRLG set code: 30 Super Rares and 21 Secret Rares, and no Commons or Rares.

50 of the 51 cards were new to the TCG. The one reprint is Guardian Eatos (DRLG-EN009), first released in 2009, which sits beside the new Guardian Dreadscythe and the two Equip Spells for them.

Many of the new cards come from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, in small groups: Legendary Knight Timaeus and the Dark Magician Fusions, Blackwing Tuners and Traps, Trains, the Hand monsters, and Rank-Up-Magic cards.

Cards and rarities

Dragons of Legend has 51 set codes, each starting DRLG-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are
Super Rare3029 new cards and the reprinted Guardian Eatos.
Secret Rare21All new, including every card from EN001 to EN007.

Each set code has one rarity, so the 51 set codes are also 51 printings. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. The set opens with the Legendary Knight and Dark Magician cards, the most valuable group in it. These six are from that group and from the set's other small packages.

Cards worth knowing

Four cards outside the anime groups. Soul Charge is the set's one card on the Forbidden & Limited List.

The Legendary Knight cards are a separate package that needs Legend of Heart and the Legendary Dragon Spells, two of which came later, in Dragons of Legend 2.
