War of the Giants Reinforcements Card List and Set Guide

Overview

War of the Giants Reinforcements released January 17, 2014, with 104 cards under the WGRT set code: 55 Commons, 43 Super Rares and 6 Ultra Rares.

Every card is a reprint. The oldest, such as Wall of Illusion and Tribute to the Doomed, were first released in 2002, and the newest, Zubaba General, in July 2013.

The list matches War of the Giants: Round 2 (BPW2), which released the same day, card for card from EN001 to EN103, with the same rarity at each code. Reinforcements adds one card, the Ultra Rare Zubaba General at WGRT-EN104.

Cards and rarities

War of the Giants Reinforcements has 104 set codes, each starting WGRT-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

Each card in the set has one code and one rarity, so the 104 set codes are also 104 printings. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. The Ultra Rares

Six cards are Ultra Rare. Five of them are the same Ultra Rares as War of the Giants: Round 2, and the sixth, Zubaba General, is the one card Reinforcements adds.

Number 11: Big Eye

WGRT-EN102

A Rank 7 Xyz Monster for 2 Level 7 monsters. Once per turn it can detach a material to take control of a monster your opponent controls, though it cannot attack that turn.

Zubaba General

WGRT-EN104

A Rank 4 Xyz for 2 Level 4 monsters. Once per turn it detaches a material to equip a Warrior monster from your hand to itself, and gains ATK equal to the monsters equipped this way.

Fog King

WGRT-EN099

A Level 7 that can be Normal Summoned with one Tribute or none, taking the combined original ATK of what it Tributed. While it is on the field, neither player can Tribute cards.

High Priestess of Prophecy

WGRT-EN100

Special Summons itself by revealing 3 Spellbook Spells in your hand. Once per turn it banishes a Spellbook Spell from your hand or GY to destroy 1 card on the field.

Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana

WGRT-EN101

A Level 6 Synchro for a Dragon Tuner and Winged Beast non-Tuners. When Synchro Summoned it equips a Level 3 or lower Dragunity Dragon from your GY, and it can send an Equip Card to double its ATK for the turn.

Safe Zone

WGRT-EN103

A Continuous Trap that protects one face-up Attack Position monster from destruction by battle and from your opponent's effects and targeting. The monster cannot attack directly, and it is destroyed when Safe Zone leaves the field.

Reprints worth knowing

Most of the set is older single cards rather than theme support. These four are general cards that work in many decks.

Mystic Box

WGRT-EN073

A Normal Spell that targets one monster your opponent controls and one you control, destroys theirs, then gives yours to your opponent.

Dark Core

WGRT-EN070

Discard 1 card to banish a face-up monster on the field. Banishing gets around effects that trigger on destruction or in the GY.

Dark Bribe

WGRT-EN087

A Counter Trap that negates and destroys a Spell or Trap your opponent activates. They draw a card in return.

Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress

WGRT-EN022

A Lightsworn Spellcaster that switches to Defense Position to destroy a Spell or Trap your opponent controls, then sends the top 3 cards of your Deck to the GY in your End Phase.

Prices

TurnZero HQ's catalog has no TCGplayer price for any War of the Giants Reinforcements printing as of October 22, 2026, so this guide has no chase card or price list. The same cards at the same rarities are priced in War of the Giants: Round 2, where the Super Rare Mystic Box was the most valuable printing at $15.32. Each card's page shows every printing it has a price for. How Yu-Gi-Oh! card prices work →

War of the Giants Reinforcements card list

Every set code in War of the Giants Reinforcements, in set code order, with each rarity it is printed at: 104 set codes in all, as listed in TurnZero HQ's catalog on October 23, 2026. Each name goes to that card's page, with today's price for every printing.

Playing it

No card in War of the Giants Reinforcements is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 23, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

The set has no archetype focus. Evilswarm has the most cards, five, and no other theme has more than three, so most of these cards go into decks as single copies of a general card.

The War of the Giants: Round 2 printings are the same cards at the same rarities apart from Zubaba General, and the catalog has prices for those.
