Overview

Set code MZTM
Cards 111
Product Booster set
Base rarity Rare
New cards 59 of 111

Maze of the Master is a booster set with Rare as its base rarity, so it has no Commons. 48 of its 111 set codes are Rare, and 16 cards also come as Collector's Rares.

It mixes new cards with reprints. 59 of its 111 cards are new, first released with the set on March 13, 2025. The other 52 are reprints going back to 2005, and most of them are the Rares numbered MZTM-EN061 to EN110.

Two cards come at Quarter Century Secret Rare. Silent Magician LV8 (MZTM-EN000) is printed only at that rarity, and Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (MZTM-EN091) also comes as a Rare.

Cards and rarities

Maze of the Master has 111 set codes, each starting MZTM-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

The 16 Collector's Rares share their set codes with a Rare, Super Rare, Ultra Rare or Secret Rare version, so they count twice. The catalog does not list a rarity for 22 of the set codes yet (21 new cards and the reprint Buzzsaw Shark, MZTM-EN046), so those are left out of the rows. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Playing it

Nothing in Maze of the Master is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 1, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any card in it.

Many of the reprints sit beside the new cards they support. The Temple of the Kings cards name Temple of the Kings, reprinted here at MZTM-EN097, and Apophis the Serpent searches Embodiment of Apophis (MZTM-EN104). Seventh Tachyon works with Number 107: Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, Clear Phantom searches Clear World, and Golden Allure Queen can Special Summon the reprinted Allure Queen LV3, LV5 and LV7.
