One Piece Card Game

One Piece Manga Cards

A Manga card is an alternate art built from panels of the One Piece manga, and it is usually the hardest card to pull in its set. This guide lists every Manga printing so far, with what each sold for on TCGplayer.

Five One Piece Manga cards fanned out: Manga Portgas.D.Ace from OP02, Manga Tony Tony.Chopper from EB01, the OP01 Manga Shanks in front, Manga Roronoa Zoro from OP06 and Manga Shanks from OP17.

What a Manga card is

A Manga card is an alternate-art printing whose artwork comes from Eiichiro Oda's manga rather than a new illustration, often in black and white. The card keeps the standard printing's name, effect, card number and rarity letter, so a Manga Shanks is still OP01-120, still a Secret Rare, and still one of your four copies of that card in a deck.

Manga printings are the scarcest pulls in most sets that have them. A main set prints up to five, and many have one or two, against dozens of Parallels and Alternate Arts. That scarcity is why the Manga card is so often the most valuable card in its set.

How to spot a Manga card

Look at the art first. A Manga card shows manga panels or line art, often in black and white, where the standard printing has a full-color illustration. The card number in the bottom right matches the standard printing, so the number alone will not tell you which version you have.

Check the listing name as well. TCGplayer's early names stack every label on one card, such as Shanks (Parallel) (Manga) (Alternate Art) from OP01 and Boa Hancock (Parallel) (Manga) from OP07. From OP09 on, the label is just Manga. Bandai's page for PRB-02 calls that set's Sanji a Super Alt-Art, while TCGplayer lists it as Manga, so the names are not perfectly consistent. The Parallel vs. Alternate Art guide explains the other labels.

Every One Piece Manga card

TCGplayer's English catalog lists 44 Manga printings of Characters, in release order below with each one's market price on October 2, 2026. "No market price" means the printing has had too few recent sales for TCGplayer to set one, not that it is cheap. Three Manga DON!! cards (from OP01, OP02 and a Double Pack Set) are left out; see the DON!! card guide.

OP13 Carrying On His Will is the one main set with no Manga card. Its top printings are the Super Alternate Art and Wanted Poster versions of Luffy, Ace and Sabo. The two most recent sets went the other way: OP16 has three Manga Admirals and OP17 has four Manga Emperors, every one of them over $800.

The PRB-01 Manga reprints

PRB-01 Premium Booster The Best (November 8, 2024) printed new Manga versions of the nine Manga cards released before it, from OP01's Shanks to EB01's Chopper, and added a Manga Nami (OP01-016) that had no Manga printing before. The PRB-01 versions are separate TCGplayer products with their own prices.

The reprint did not make the originals cheap. OP01's Manga Shanks sells for $3,998.74 and the PRB-01 one for $1,250.00. The PRB-01 Luffy is the exception: it has a $5,000.00 market price, while the OP05 original has had too few sales to carry one. The same character and card number can be either printing, so compare your card with the scans on both listings before you price it.

What sets a Manga card's price

The character counts for more than the rarity letter. OP16's Manga Kuzan and Borsalino are Rares and sell for more than many Secret Rare Manga cards, and PRB-01's Manga Nami is a Rare at $2,017.24. Popular characters from the Straw Hats, the Emperors and the Admirals sit at the top of the table.

Age shows up in the table too. The early Manga cards from OP01, OP02, OP06 and EB01 hold some of the highest prices. A set's prices take months to settle after release, so the figures for OP16 and OP17 will move more than the ones for OP01. The most expensive One Piece cards list shows where Manga cards sit against SP and tournament prize cards.

Collecting Manga cards in TurnZero HQ

Every Manga printing has its own entry in TurnZero HQ's One Piece catalog, separate from the standard card with the same number. Add the Manga printing to your collection and it is priced daily from TCGplayer, with a 90-day price chart. Set completion counts Manga cards as extras beside a set's base printings, so you can see which ones you still need. The collection tracker and set completion guides cover both.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Manga card in the One Piece Card Game?

An alternate-art printing whose artwork is built from panels of Eiichiro Oda's One Piece manga, usually in black and white. It has the same name, text, card number and rarity as the standard card, so it plays the same. Only a few are printed in a set, and they are often its most valuable cards.

How many One Piece Manga cards are there?

TCGplayer's English catalog lists 44 Manga printings of Characters on October 2, 2026, from OP01's Shanks to OP18's Nico Robin, plus three Manga DON!! cards. Ten of the 44 are PRB-01 reprints of earlier Manga cards and a new Manga Nami.

What is the most expensive One Piece Manga card?

The Manga Monkey.D.Luffy (OP05-119) from PRB-01, at $5,000.00 on October 2, 2026, followed by OP01's Manga Shanks at $3,998.74. Prices at this level rest on few sales, so check the current price before you buy or sell.

Is a Manga card the same as a Parallel or Alternate Art?

It is a kind of alternate art. A Parallel or Alternate Art has new illustrated artwork; a Manga printing uses manga panels instead. TCGplayer's early names stack the labels, such as Shanks (Parallel) (Manga) (Alternate Art), and later sets use Manga alone.

Does every One Piece set have a Manga card?

No. OP13 Carrying On His Will has none; its top printings are Super Alternate Arts and Wanted Posters. Most other main sets have one to five.
