Standard Rotated out of Standard

ST-07 is the Big Mom Pirates starter. Its Leader, Charlotte Linlin (ST07-001), has 5000 power and 5 Life. With 2 DON!! attached, when she attacks you may add the top or bottom card of your Life to your hand, and if you then have 2 or less Life cards, you may put a card from your hand on top of your Life.

The deck's 17 different cards are the Leader, 13 Characters, 2 Events and the Queen Mama Chanter Stage, all {Big Mom Pirates} type. They are all block 1 cards that left Standard on April 1, 2026, so the box is now for casual play and Bandai's Extra Regulation, where every card is legal except the ban list.

It suits a player who likes managing a resource closely. Your Life cards act as a second hand: several cards spend them for card draw or removal, and the Leader can put a chosen card back. If you want to play Big Mom Pirates in Standard, the upgrade section covers the OP17-099 Charlotte Linlin Leader.

Every card in ST-07, including the Charlotte Linlin Leader (ST07-001), is a block 1 card and has been out of Standard since April 1, 2026.

Ratings

Strength as sold 1/5

The Charlotte Linlin Leader (ST07-001) is rotated, so the deck cannot be played in Standard as sold. Casually it has a real plan, but Anana, Flampe, Pekoms and Baron Tamago have no effects.

Upgraded ceiling 3/5

This rates the Standard successor, OP17-099 Charlotte Linlin (Yellow, Big Mom Pirates), which arrived with a set full of Big Mom Pirates support such as Sweet 3 Generals and OP17-103 Charlotte Katakuri. That gives the Life-refill plan enough cards to be coherent in Standard.

Difficulty to play 4/5

Many of the deck's best effects cost a Life card, and the Leader only refills Life when you are at 2 or less, so you are always deciding how low to go. Pudding, Katakuri and Power Mochi also let you rearrange Life cards, which adds a decision to most turns.

How it plays

The deck wins by turning Life cards into resources faster than your opponent can take them, then finishing with Charlotte Linlin (ST07-010) and her Homies. Zeus can rest to give a Charlotte Linlin card [Banish], and Prometheus can rest to give one [Double Attack].

Early on, Charlotte Pudding looks at the top Life card of either player and puts it on the top or bottom, which lets you set up what the Leader takes. Charlotte Mont-d'Or can rest and spend a Life card to K.O. a Character with a cost of 3 or less, and Charlotte Daifuku spends a Life card when attacking to put the top card of your deck back on your Life.

In the late game, going low on Life turns on the Leader's refill. Once you are at 2 Life or fewer, each Leader attack can move a card from your hand to your Life, so you can stack a Trigger such as Charlotte Brulee or Zeus where your opponent will hit it. Charlotte Linlin (ST07-010) and Soul Pocus make your opponent choose between losing a Life card or letting you add one.

Tips for your first games

  • Attach 2 DON!! to the Leader before attacking, since her effect needs [DON!! x2].
  • Use Pudding or Power Mochi before the Leader attacks, so you know which Life card you are taking from the top or bottom.
  • When you refill Life with the Leader, a card with a [Trigger] such as Charlotte Brulee or Prometheus gives you value if your opponent hits it.
  • Rest Zeus before Charlotte Linlin (ST07-010) attacks to give her [Banish], which stops your opponent's Life Trigger from activating.

Upgrade guide

Every upgrade below is legal in Standard and shares a color with the Leader. Prices are each card's base printing on TCGplayer on October 10, 2026; open a card for today's price.

Budget Big Mom Pirates Characters

The first fix is to replace the four vanilla Characters with budget Big Mom Pirates cards that do something. Streusen looks at 3 cards for a Big Mom Pirates card, ST20-004 Charlotte Pudding spends a Life card to set a Big Mom Pirates Character with a cost of 3 or less as active, and ST20-002 Charlotte Cracker can trash a Life card instead of being K.O.'d by an effect. ST20-001 Charlotte Katakuri is a Blocker that turns a Life card face-up to give a rested DON!! to your Leader or a Character. Charlotte Opera K.O.s a Character with a cost up to your Life count, so it is stronger early, before the Leader has drawn your Life down.

Streusen OP17-113$0.22
Charlotte Pudding ST20-004$0.23
Charlotte Cracker ST20-002$0.13
Charlotte Katakuri ST20-001$0.78
Charlotte Opera OP08-102$0.53

Charlotte Linlin cards and payoffs

Several Standard-legal cards name Charlotte Linlin or pay you for spending Life, which both Linlin Leaders do. Maser Saber is a +3000 counter for a Charlotte Linlin card and can K.O. a Character with a cost of 6 or less as a Trigger unless your opponent trashes 3 cards. ST20-005 Charlotte Linlin makes your opponent trash 2 cards or a Life card, and OP17-112 Charlotte Linlin draws a card and adds a Life card or bounces your opponent's top Life card to their hand. OP11-106 Zeus spends a Life card on play to K.O. a Character with a cost of 5 or less, which is the removal this deck lacks.

CardNumberPrice, October 10, 2026
Maser Saber OP17-117$1.28
Charlotte Linlin ST20-005$2.44
Charlotte Linlin OP17-112$3.32

Refill Life with OP17 cards (for ST07-001 or OP17-099)

The Leader spends Life faster than ST-07 can replace it. These cards add the top card of your deck to your Life, and the two that check your Leader want a Big Mom Pirates Leader, which both Charlotte Linlin Leaders are. Sweet 3 Generals and OP17-104 Charlotte Cracker are the cheapest, OP17-106 Charlotte Smoothie also makes your opponent trash a card, and OP17-103 Charlotte Katakuri adds a Life card and gives −3000 power. Charlotte Angel trashes your top Life card to replace it with the top of your deck at end of turn, which lets you swap a weak Life card. The OP17 cards here other than Sweet 3 Generals are not budget.

CardNumberPrice, October 10, 2026
Sweet 3 Generals OP17-114$0.32
Charlotte Cracker OP17-104$5.15
Charlotte Smoothie OP17-106$6.33
Charlotte Katakuri OP17-103$7.70
Charlotte Angel OP08-101$0.51

What to cut first

Bandai's list doesn't say how many copies of each card the deck has, so cut by card: take out every copy of these before anything else, and keep the deck at exactly 50.

Every card in ST-07

Bandai's card list for ST-07 has 17 different cards. 17 of them carry a block 1 icon or are banned, so they can't be played in Standard; they are still legal in Extra Regulation unless banned. Legality follows Bandai's block icons and its banned list effective October 12, 2026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is ST-07 legal in Standard?

No. Every card in ST-07, including the Charlotte Linlin Leader, is a block 1 card and has been out of Standard since April 1, 2026. It is still playable casually and in Extra Regulation.

Is there a Standard-legal Charlotte Linlin Leader?

Yes. OP17-099 Charlotte Linlin is a yellow Big Mom Pirates Leader that trashes a card when attacking to make your opponent choose between you adding a Life card and them trashing a card from hand.

What should I upgrade first in ST-07?

Replace Charlotte Anana, Charlotte Flampe and Pekoms with budget Big Mom Pirates cards like Streusen and ST20-004 Charlotte Pudding. Then add OP11-106 Zeus for removal.

Is ST-07 good for beginners?

It is one of the harder starters to learn, because most decisions involve spending or rearranging Life cards. A new player can learn a lot from it, but should expect to lose some games to going too low on Life.
