Pokémon TCG · 2023 Set Guide
The original 151 Pokémon, in Pokédex order from Bulbasaur at 001 to Mew ex at 151. Its chase list is led by the Kanto starters: Charizard ex, Blastoise ex, Venusaur ex, and Charmander and Squirtle.
151 is a special set in the Scarlet & Violet series, numbered sv3pt5 in the catalog between Obsidian Flames and Paradox Rift. Its first 151 cards are the original 151 Pokémon in Pokédex order: Bulbasaur is 001, Pikachu 025, Mewtwo 150 and Mew ex 151. Trainers fill 152 to 165.
Its 12 Pokémon ex are Kanto favorites, the three starters' final forms among them, and its Illustration Rares include the starters themselves.
151 has 207 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "001/165", next to the set code MEW.
The printed total is 165, so the 42 cards from 166 to 207 are secret rares. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

These are each card's headline TCGplayer market price on October 1, 2026. Prices can move a long way, most of all in a set's first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price for every variant and its 90-day chart. How Pokémon card prices work →
One copy of every card in 151, bought as singles, cost $1,769.06 on October 1, 2026. That is the third most expensive of the six sets released in 2023.
The three most valuable cards, Charizard ex, Blastoise ex and Venusaur ex, come to $579.12, or 33% of the total. Without them the set costs $1,189.94. Of the 207 cards, 157 were under $2.00, together $40.00; the other 50 add up to $1,729.06.
Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.
151 carries the G regulation mark, which left Standard on April 10, 2026, so it is no longer Standard-legal as printed. It is legal in Expanded.
A reprint with a legal mark makes older printings of the same card legal again, so check a card's name before you rule it out.
September 22, 2023. Its set code is MEW.
207. The first 151 are the original Pokémon in Pokédex order, Trainers take 152 to 165, and the 42 cards above the printed total of 165 are secret rares.

No. 151's Charizard ex is a Fire Pokémon with Brave Wing and Explosive Vortex; Obsidian Flames' is a Darkness-type Tera Pokémon with Infernal Reign and Burning Darkness. They are different cards.
