The printed total is 84, so the 36 cards from 085 to 120 are secret rares. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

Headline Pokémon

The Mega Evolution ex to know first, each giving up three Prize cards when Knocked Out:

What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Pitch Black, bought as singles, cost $635.03 on September 30, 2026. That is the third most expensive of the five sets released in 2026.

Complete set $635.03
Main set, 001 to 084 $14.52
36 secret rares $620.51
Top three cards $382.07 (60%)

The three most valuable cards, Mega Darkrai ex, Mega Darkrai ex and Morpeko ex, come to $382.07, or 60% of the total. Without them the set costs $252.96. Of the 120 cards, 94 were under $2.00, together $30.56; the other 26 add up to $604.47.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

Every Pitch Black card carries a J or I regulation mark, both legal in Standard since the April 10, 2026 rotation.

Jett, another Supporter here, draws a card for each Mega Evolution Pokémon ex your opponent has in play. It is a direct answer to the series' own headline cards, and it does nothing against a deck without them.
