Top rarity Quarter Century Secret Rare

Supreme Darkness is the first core booster set of 2025. Its 101 cards break down into 50 Commons, 26 Super Rares, 14 Ultra Rares and 10 Secret Rares, plus 25 Quarter Century Secret Rares: one for every Ultra and Secret Rare, and one card printed only at Quarter Century Secret Rare.

All 101 cards are new, first released with the set on January 23, 2025. Some have been reprinted since, in products such as Magnificent Monsters, Rarity Collection 5 and Legendary Modern Decks 2026.

The set spreads across many themes. Mitsurugi gets seven cards and Evil HERO six monsters plus three Dark Fusion support cards, Argostars, Materiactor and Crystron get five each, and there are smaller runs for Azamina, Gladiator Beast, Tenyi and Speedroid.

Cards and rarities

Supreme Darkness has 101 set codes, each starting SUDA-EN and printed under the artwork on the right. Where a card comes at more than one rarity, every version shares its code, so the table counts set codes at each rarity and a code printed at two rarities is counted twice.

RarityCardsWhat they are

Super Rare26
Ultra Rare14Each one is also printed as a Quarter Century Secret Rare.
Secret Rare10Each one is also printed as a Quarter Century Secret Rare.
Quarter Century Secret Rare25The 24 Ultra and Secret Rares, plus Paladins of Bonds and Unity (SUDA-EN000).

The 24 Ultra and Secret Rares count again in the Quarter Century Secret Rare row, which is why the rows add up to 125 printings for 101 set codes. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts the distinct set codes you own against the set's total, so a card printed at two rarities counts once, with an every-rarity count beside it for collectors chasing each version. Cards worth knowing

Four more cards from the set. Two of them, Mulcharmy Meowls and A Bao A Qu, the Lightless Shadow, are not tied to an archetype.

The chase card: Paladins of Bonds and Unity

Rarity Quarter Century Secret Rare
Set code SUDA-EN000
1st Edition market price, September 30, 2026 $162.63

The Quarter Century Secret Rare Paladins of Bonds and Unity (SUDA-EN000) is Supreme Darkness's chase card. It was $162.63 on September 30, 2026, a little more than twice the next card, the Quarter Century Secret Rare Primite Dragon Ether Beryl at $75.19.

It is a Level 12 Synchro Monster for 1 Tuner and 1+ non-Tuners with 2500 original ATK and DEF. Your opponent cannot target it with card effects or destroy it with them, and once per turn, while your opponent has 25 or more cards in their GY, it can negate a Spell Card's activation and destroy that card.

It is the one card in the set printed only at Quarter Century Secret Rare, so Supreme Darkness has no cheaper version of it. The catalog lists no other printing of the card.

Rarity is in the foil rather than the set code, so check it before you price the copy in your hand. Reading the set code and rarity →

Playing it

No Supreme Darkness card is on the Forbidden & Limited List as of October 1, 2026, so a deck can run three copies of any of them.

The Mitsurugi cards are Reptiles that act when they are Tributed. Mitsurugi no Mikoto, Kusanagi and Saji each have an effect when Tributed and can be Tributed in place of another Reptile that would be destroyed, and Mitsurugi Ritual and Mitsurugi Prayers give you ways to Tribute them on your own terms.

The Evil HERO cards are built around Dark Fusion. Evil HERO Infernal Rider adds Dark Fusion from your Deck or GY, Evil Assault can return it from the GY, and Dark Contact Fusion Summons a Dark Fusion monster by shuffling its materials from your field, GY or banishment into the Deck.
