Disney Lorcana
Infinity Constructed is Disney Lorcana's format with no rotation: the same 60-card, two-ink deck rules as Core, with every set ever released. As of October 2026 that is The First Chapter through Hyperia City, and one card is banned.
The Tournament Rules define Infinity in two lines: it follows the Core Constructed rules, except that you may use any card from any set, and it has its own banned list. Every row below is from those rules, effective July 14, 2026.
Every standard Disney Lorcana card is legal in Infinity unless it is banned. That covers the 14 main sets from The First Chapter (August 2023) to Hyperia City (October 2026), the promo cards, and the cards that rotated out of Core: sets 1 to 4 when Fabled released, and sets 5 to 8 when Attack of the Vine! did in July 2026. A new set becomes legal at its hobby-store prerelease, as in Core.
"Standard" matters for one product line. Comprehensive Rules 1.4 says a card with a different back, such as a card from an Illumineer's Quest scenario deck, or an oversized card is not a standard Disney Lorcana card, so it can't go in any deck. Format Coconut's Coconut cards live in the companion app and aren't deck cards either.
One card is banned in Infinity as of October 2026. Ravensburger banned Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker from Infinity Constructed effective March 26, 2026, almost a year after banning him in Core.
Hiram is a 4-cost Sapphire character from Rise of the Floodborn. When you play him and whenever he quests, you may banish one of your items to draw 2 cards. In a deck full of cheap items, that is a lot of cards for very little. Steve Warner, the game's co-creator and design lead, wrote that the card "continues to create an insurmountable resource gap" and that the goal of the ban was more varied deckbuilding at upcoming events.
Fortisphere, the 1-cost item banned in Core alongside Hiram in April 2025, was not banned in Infinity and is legal there. A ban only covers tournament play, so both cards are still playable at a kitchen table.
The two formats share every deck rule, so a deck that is legal in Core is legal in Infinity unless it runs a card on Infinity's banned list. The reverse doesn't hold.
Infinity is the format for a collection that started before Fabled (August 2025). Cards from sets 1 to 8 that aren't reprinted later can only see tournament play here, and the starter decks from The First Chapter to Reign of Jafar are legal here, apart from the one banned card.
The tradeoff is a bigger card pool to prepare for. With 14 sets legal, you face more possible decks, and the strongest cards from early sets sit beside the newest ones. Some players enjoy that, and some prefer Core's smaller, rotating pool. Rotation also means a Core deck may need replacing, while an Infinity deck keeps its cards legal unless one is banned.
Infinity is an official tournament format, so stores can run it as sanctioned weekly play beside Core, Pack Rush, Draft and Sealed. At the top level, Ravensburger runs some Disney Lorcana Challenge events in Infinity: its North American Challenge rules list one of the season's Challenges as Infinity Constructed, and its March 2026 ban applied to upcoming Infinity events. Check each Challenge's page for its format.
For the 2026 World Championship (December 4 to 6), Ravensburger's Hyperia City kit gives stores a World Championship Celebration in Infinity, run alongside Worlds or any time until December 20, 2026. Players get a Minnie Mouse - Amethyst Champion promo while supplies last.
TurnZero HQ's Deck Lab can check a Lorcana deck against Infinity Constructed: pick Infinity Constructed when you name the deck, and it checks the 60-card minimum, 4 copies of a full name, the two-ink limit and each card's legality. Every Lorcana card page shows its Core and Infinity legality, but that legality comes from the catalog, which does not yet flag Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker, so the Deck Lab will not catch the ban. For the banned list before a tournament, go by Ravensburger's current Tournament Rules.
An Infinity deck often draws on cards from across your whole collection, and TurnZero HQ tracks your Lorcana cards by set and collector number, so you can see what you already own from the older sets. How the Lorcana collection tracker works →
Infinity Constructed is Disney Lorcana's non-rotating format. It uses the same deck rules as Core Constructed (at least 60 cards, no more than 4 of a full name, no more than two inks), but any card from any set is legal except the cards on Infinity's own banned list.
All of them. As of October 2026 that is sets 1 to 14, The First Chapter through Hyperia City, plus the promo cards. Set rotation doesn't apply to Infinity, so a new set adds to the pool and nothing leaves it.
One card as of October 2026: Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker, banned in Infinity Constructed effective March 26, 2026. Ravensburger said the card continued to create an insurmountable resource gap.
No. Fortisphere was banned in Core Constructed alongside Hiram on April 8, 2025, but only Hiram was later banned in Infinity. Fortisphere is legal in Infinity as of October 2026.
The deck rules are the same. The difference is the card pool: Core only allows the recent sets (9 to 14 as of October 2026) and rotates the four oldest out once a year, while Infinity allows every set. Each has its own banned list.
Yes. Infinity allows every set, so a starter deck from any set is legal there as long as it doesn't include Hiram Flaversham - Toymaker, the one card banned in the format. Decks from sets 1 to 8 are not legal in Core.
