Silver Tempest is the twelfth and last Sword & Shield expansion: 195 cards up to the printed total and 20 secret rares above it (196 to 215). Crown Zenith followed in January 2023 as the series' closing special set.

Lugia VSTAR's Summoning Star puts two Colorless Pokémon without a rule box from your discard pile onto your Bench, and Forest Seal Stone, a Pokémon Tool, gives a Pokémon V a VSTAR Power of its own. Its Trainer Gallery is a 30-card companion list, numbered TG01 to TG30 and filed under its own catalog code, of Pokémon pictured with their Trainers and full-art Pokémon V and VMAX.

Cards and rarities

Silver Tempest has 215 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "001/195", next to the set code SIT.

The printed total is 195, so the 20 cards from 196 to 215 are secret rares. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Silver Tempest, bought as singles, cost $914.69 on October 22, 2026, and its Trainer Gallery $459.56 more. Together that is the 7th most expensive of the seventeen sets in the Sword & Shield series.

Complete set $914.69
Main set, 001 to 195 $723.80
20 secret rares $190.89
Top three cards $545.63 (60%)

The three most valuable cards, Lugia V, Lugia VSTAR and Unown V, come to $545.63, or 60% of the total. Without them the set costs $369.06. Of the 215 cards, 168 were under $2.00, together $49.50; the other 47 add up to $865.19.

The Trainer Gallery's 30 cards are priced separately, and 53% of their $459.56 is in its top three cards, Rayquaza VMAX, Blaziken VMAX and Blaziken V.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

Silver Tempest cards carry the D and F regulation marks, and Standard has allowed only H, I and J since April 10, 2026, so none is Standard-legal as printed. Every card in Silver Tempest is legal in Expanded, which takes every set from Black & White on.

A reprint with a legal mark makes older printings of the same card legal again, so check a card's name before you rule it out.
