Five A Lawless Time Prestige cards fanned out: K-2S0, C-3P0, Han Solo in front, Boba Fett and IG-88.

A Lawless Time is the seventh Star Wars: Unlimited expansion and the first of 2026. It pulls characters from across the saga into one theme, the criminal underworld: Jabba the Hutt, Lando Calrissian, Han Solo, Tobias Beckett, Boba Fett and Aurra Sing among the leaders, and bounty hunters, smugglers and heists through the rest of the set.

Underworld is the trait the set is built on. It is on 95 of the 264 cards, more than any other, with Bounty Hunter on 38 and Vehicle on 48. The Rebels are the other side of the set: Saw Gerrera, Jyn Erso, Vel Sartha and Hera Syndulla lead them.

The new resource is money. A Lawless Time's cards are the first to make Credit tokens, and 40 of them mention Credits. A Credit sits in play until you are paying for something, when you can defeat it to pay 1 less, so a Credit is a resource you can save for the turn you need it.

Cards and versions

A Lawless Time has 264 cards. Each shows its set code, LAW, and its number along the bottom, and the set's other versions are numbered past the printed total.

Hyperspace Foil529 to 766238The Hyperspace version in foil, for every card except the leaders and the common bases.

Prestige785 to 82339A shorter list of the set's cards, each with new art.
Prestige Foil824 to 86239The same cards in foil. Carbonite packs only.
Prestige Serialized863 to 90139The same cards again, individually numbered. Carbonite packs only.

Each version has its own collector number, which is how TurnZero HQ, the scanner and set completion tell them apart. Foil and serialized Prestige cards come only from Carbonite Edition packs, the publisher's premium booster, which also guarantees one Prestige card a pack. From A Lawless Time on, most serialized Prestige cards are numbered to 250, some to 100 and a few to 50, according to the publisher. The catalog lists 907 printings of A Lawless Time in all. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set from 1 to its printed total and keeps the Hyperspace, Showcase and Prestige versions apart as extras, so finishing the set and chasing its versions read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

Leaders

There are 18 leaders: two for each pairing of a main aspect with Heroism or Villainy, and two, Saw Gerrera and Tobias Beckett, that pair two main aspects instead. These four show the set's range:

Bases

Twelve bases, three in each aspect. The eight commons have 27 HP and the same Epic Action: play a card from your hand, ignoring one of its aspect icons. The three rares trade 1 HP for an ability of their own, and Great Pit of Carkoon searches your deck for The Sarlacc of Carkoon.

Credit tokens

A Credit token stays in play and does nothing until you pay for something. While you are paying resources, you can defeat it to pay 1 less. That makes it a resource you can bank: make Credits on a quiet turn and spend them on the turn you need to play two cards, or one big one.

Jabba the Hutt and Lando Calrissian are the two leaders built on them. Jabba makes a Credit by returning an Underworld unit to your hand, and once deployed gives Ambush to an Underworld unit you play using a Credit. Lando can turn one Credit into three in a single deploy.

Cards worth knowing

The Legendary rares are where most of the set's power is. These were its most valuable Normal versions on September 30, a fair sign of which cards players are building around:

The chase card: Lando Calrissian

Version Showcase
Card number LAW 784
Market price, September 30, 2026 $328.28
Artist Atey Ghailan

The Showcase Lando Calrissian, Full Sabacc is the most valuable card in A Lawless Time that you can pull without a serial number. It was $328.28 on September 30, ahead of Darth Vader, Unstoppable at $285.55 and Director Krennic at $262.76.

All 18 Showcase leaders were between $66 and $329, so any Showcase leader is a good pull. Which one tops the list has more to do with which leaders players like than with rarity: the Vader Showcase is a Common leader's.

The gap between versions is the whole story. The same Lando leader was $0.15 as a Normal card and $0.33 in Hyperspace.

Chase cards and prices

Every one of A Lawless Time's ten most valuable cards that isn't serialized is a Showcase leader. The most valuable Normal card, Single Reactor Ignition, was $25.07.

Serialized Prestige cards

A serialized card's market price comes from a handful of numbered copies changing hands, so one sale can move it a long way. Treat these as a sign of where the money is rather than a price you can count on.

CardMarket price, September 30, 2026
Han Solo, Hibernation Sick $1,492.49
C-3P0, Translation Protocol $980.00
K-2S0, Locking the Vault $497.50
IG-88, Programmed to Kill $389.75
Boba Fett, For a Price $360.97

These are each card's TCGplayer market price on September 30, 2026. Prices for a new set can move a long way in its first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price for Normal and Foil and its price chart. How card prices work →

Playing it

Underworld decks are the obvious build, and A Lawless Time gives them two leaders in Cunning and Villainy (Jabba the Hutt and The Client) and two in Cunning and Heroism (Han Solo and Lando Calrissian). Credits suit any deck that wants to skip a turn's worth of resources later, so expect to see them outside Underworld too.

The common bases matter more than they look. Ignoring one aspect icon once a game, through the Epic Action, lets a two-aspect deck play its one off-aspect bomb at its printed cost.
