Star Wars: Unlimited · Aspects
Heroism is Star Wars: Unlimited's white aspect and one of its two sides. It marks the heroes, from the Rebel Alliance and the Resistance to the Jedi and the Republic, and because no base provides it, your leader alone decides whether your deck has it.
Heroism is white, one of the two sides. The hero side: Rebels, the Resistance, Jedi and the Republic. It comes from your leader and decides which characters your deck can play at printed cost.
Only your leader can provide it. As of October 2026, 51 of the 108 Premier leaders do.
Heroism is less a play style than an allegiance. The four style aspects (Vigilance, Command, Aggression and Cunning) say how a card plays; Heroism says which side of the war it is on. Most cards that print Heroism also print a style aspect, so a Heroism deck plays the way its style aspect plays, with the hero side's characters.
Only your leader can provide it. Bases print a style aspect or nothing, never a side, so a deck is a Heroism deck because its leader is. Every Heroism card costs at least 2 more under a leader without Heroism, which is why the leader is the first choice in building one: it decides which half of the card pool plays at printed cost.
The side shapes a deck through traits. Rebel is by far the most common trait on Heroism cards, followed by Force and Jedi, Republic and Resistance, and many cards check for those traits, so a Heroism deck often builds around one faction. A few cards count Heroism itself: Restore Freedom plays a unit from your hand for 1 less per Heroism icon among your units.

Weaknesses
Counted from the 1,409 non-leader, non-base cards in the six Premier-legal sets as of October 2026, a reprint counted once. A card with two aspects counts for both.
The most common traits on Heroism cards: Rebels above all, then Vehicles, Force users, Jedi, the Republic and the Resistance. Only 61 print Heroism alone; the other 305 pair it with a style aspect, so a Heroism deck plays mostly the cards of its leader's style aspect.
Each prints the Heroism icon and nothing else, so it plays at printed cost under any leader with Heroism.

A deck is usually named by its leader's two aspects. These are the 4 pairings that include Heroism, each with its leaders, signature cards and which base to choose.
Heroism is white. Its icon is printed in white beside a card's cost and on the right side of a leader.
No. Bases provide one of Vigilance, Command, Aggression or Cunning (Lake Country provides none), never Heroism or Villainy. Your leader is the only card that can give your deck Heroism.
Yes. Any card can go in any deck, but each Heroism icon your leader and base don't provide adds 2 to the card's cost.
