Pokémon TCG · 2024 Set Guide
The smallest set in these guides at 99 cards, and the darkest: Pecharunt ex and three poison Pokémon ex, with a chase list led by Illustration Rares and a gold Darkness Energy.
Shrouded Fable is a small special set in the Scarlet & Violet series, numbered sv6pt5 in the catalog between Twilight Masquerade and Stellar Crown. At 99 cards it is the smallest set these guides cover.
Its story is Pecharunt and the three Pokémon it controls, Okidogi, Munkidori and Fezandipiti, all four printed as Pokémon ex. Darkness is by far its biggest type, with 24 cards.
Shrouded Fable has 99 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "001/064", next to the set code SFA.
The printed total is 64, so the 35 cards from 065 to 099 are secret rares. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →

These are each card's headline TCGplayer market price on October 1, 2026. Prices can move a long way, most of all in a set's first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price for every variant and its 90-day chart. How Pokémon card prices work →
One copy of every card in Shrouded Fable, bought as singles, cost $850.50 on October 1, 2026. That is the fifth most expensive of the six sets released in 2024.
The three most valuable cards, Persian, Basic Darkness Energy and Houndoom, come to $193.02, or 23% of the total. Without them the set costs $657.48. Of the 99 cards, 63 were under $2.00, together $14.24; the other 36 add up to $836.26.
Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.
Almost all of Shrouded Fable carries the H regulation mark, legal in Standard under the April 10, 2026 rotation. Earthen Vessel carries a G, and the two gold Basic Energy cards carry no mark.
Pecharunt ex is the engine: Subjugating Chains moves a Benched Darkness Pokémon in and Poisons it, which is exactly what Okidogi ex wants, and Munkidori ex gives up fewer Prize cards while Pecharunt ex is in play.
