Pokémon TCG
Every English Pokémon TCG set released in 2024, in order, with a guide to each: what is in it, which cards matter at the table, and which ones collectors chase.
Six sets released in 2024, all in the Scarlet & Violet series, which the 2025 sets finished. Prices on this page are from October 1, 2026, a day after the 2025 and 2026 guides were priced, so compare these sets with each other rather than with those. The 2023 sets →

The last column is what one copy of every card cost as singles, each at its cheapest variant and TCGplayer market price. It shows how much value a set packs in, not what opening it returns; each guide breaks it down.
Each guide covers the set's headline Pokémon ex, the Trainers worth knowing, rarity counts and the chase cards with dated prices. These are the cards each one is built around.
Every set has one card its collectors open packs for. Paldean Fates' Mew ex is the most valuable of 2024, and Shrouded Fable's Persian the least, almost $800 apart. Three of the six chase cards aren't Pokémon ex at all.
| Set | Chase card | Rarity | Market price, October 1, 2026 |

Prices are TCGplayer market prices on October 1, 2026 and move daily. Each set guide has the chase card's other versions and the rest of its chase list.
Paldean Fates (January 26, 2024). The shiny set. Only 91 of its 245 cards are numbered in the main set; 132 more are Shiny Pokémon, and the Mew ex Special Illustration Rare is the most valuable 2024 card in these guides.
Temporal Forces (March 22, 2024). Ancient against Future. Temporal Forces splits its headline Pokémon between the two, brought ACE SPEC cards back to the game, and has no single card that carries its value.
Twilight Masquerade (May 24, 2024). The Ogerpon set. All four of its masks are Pokémon ex here, beside Greninja ex and Dragapult ex, and the Greninja ex Special Illustration Rare is worth twice the next card.
Shrouded Fable (August 2, 2024). The smallest set in these guides at 99 cards, and the darkest: Pecharunt ex and three poison Pokémon ex, with a chase list led by Illustration Rares and a gold Darkness Energy.
Stellar Crown (September 13, 2024). The Terapagos set. Its Pokémon ex include Venusaur ex and Blastoise ex, but the cards collectors chase are two Illustration Rares, Squirtle and Bulbasaur, about a dollar apart.
Surging Sparks (November 8, 2024). The biggest set of 2024 at 252 cards. Pikachu ex leads it at the table and in the price list, and its Special Illustration Rare is the set's chase card.
Paldean Fates brought Shiny Pokémon into Scarlet & Violet, 132 of them, and Temporal Forces brought back ACE SPEC cards, Trainers limited to one per deck. Every later 2024 set printed ACE SPECs too, eight in Surging Sparks alone.
The year's Pokémon ex are regular ex, worth two Prize cards when Knocked Out, many of them Tera Pokémon. Mega Evolution ex, worth three, arrived in September 2025. Reading the rule box on a card → The whole Scarlet & Violet series →
Six English sets, all Scarlet & Violet: Paldean Fates (January 26), Temporal Forces (March 22), Twilight Masquerade (May 24), Shrouded Fable (August 2), Stellar Crown (September 13) and Surging Sparks (November 8).
Surging Sparks, with 252 cards. Shrouded Fable is the smallest at 99.
The Paldean Fates Mew ex Special Illustration Rare (232/091), at $869.40 on October 1, 2026. The Twilight Masquerade Greninja ex Special Illustration Rare was next among the sets' chase cards at $333.46. Prices move daily.
Most of them. Standard has allowed the H, I and J regulation marks since April 10, 2026. Paldean Fates carries a G on every card, so it rotated out as printed; Stellar Crown has eight G cards and Shrouded Fable one. The rest carry an H, the oldest mark still legal.
