Pokémon TCG · 2024 Set Guide
The Terapagos set. Its Pokémon ex include Venusaur ex and Blastoise ex, but the cards collectors chase are two Illustration Rares, Squirtle and Bulbasaur, about a dollar apart.
Stellar Crown is the seventh main expansion of Scarlet & Violet, and Terapagos ex is its face. It has 14 Pokémon ex at Double Rare, from Venusaur ex and Blastoise ex to Lapras ex, Galvantula ex and Dachsbun ex.
It is the cheapest complete 2024 set in these guides, and its two most valuable cards aren't Pokémon ex at all.
Stellar Crown has 175 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "001/142", next to the set code SCR.
The printed total is 142, so the 33 cards from 143 to 175 are secret rares. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. How set completion works →
The Pokémon ex to know first, each giving up two Prize cards when Knocked Out:
Terapagos ex
Stellar Crown #128
Unified Beatdown does 30 for each of your Benched Pokémon; Crown Opal does 180 and blocks damage from Basic non-Colorless Pokémon next turn.
Lapras ex
Stellar Crown #32
Larimar Rain attaches any Energy from the top 20 cards of your deck to your Pokémon.
Galvantula ex
Stellar Crown #51
Charged Web does 220 against a Pokémon ex or V; Fulgurite does 180 and stops your opponent playing Items next turn.
Dachsbun ex
Stellar Crown #67
Time to Chow Down heals all damage from your Evolution Pokémon when it evolves, discarding their Energy.
An ACE SPEC Stadium and two Supporters keyed to the Prize count:
Grand Tree
Stellar Crown #136
ACE SPEC Stadium. Once a turn, each player may evolve a Basic Pokémon straight from the deck to Stage 1, then to Stage 2.
Briar
Stellar Crown #132
Only when your opponent has exactly 2 Prize cards left: a Knock Out by your Tera Pokémon this turn takes 1 more Prize card.
Lacey
Stellar Crown #139
Shuffle your hand in and draw 4, or 8 if your opponent has 3 or fewer Prize cards left.
Stellar Crown's chase card is the Squirtle Illustration Rare, at $97.06 on October 1, 2026, and the Bulbasaur Illustration Rare is right beside it at $95.96, $1.10 less. Either one is the card collectors open this set for.
The best Pokémon ex card, the Dachsbun ex Special Illustration Rare, was third at $75.63. Terapagos ex's own Special Illustration Rare was $34.50.
This is Squirtle's only printing in the set.
Only the exact version is worth its price. The number at the bottom of the card and the rarity symbol beside it tell you which one you pulled. Reading the number and rarity symbol →
Squirtle and Bulbasaur, then the Special Illustration Rares, led by Dachsbun ex.

These are each card's headline TCGplayer market price on October 1, 2026. Prices can move a long way, most of all in a set's first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price for every variant and its 90-day chart. How Pokémon card prices work →
One copy of every card in Stellar Crown, bought as singles, cost $582.64 on October 1, 2026. That is the least expensive of the six sets released in 2024.
The three most valuable cards, Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Dachsbun ex, come to $268.65, or 46% of the total. Without them the set costs $313.99. Of the 175 cards, 144 were under $2.00, together $37.70; the other 31 add up to $544.94.
Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.
Most of Stellar Crown carries the H regulation mark, legal in Standard under the April 10, 2026 rotation. Eight cards carry a G and rotated out, among them Venusaur ex, Blastoise ex, Garganacl ex and the Squirtle and Bulbasaur Illustration Rares.
Briar and Lacey both key off how many Prize cards your opponent has left, so they are strongest late in a game you are behind in.
