Its printed total is 115. Above it are two secret rares, Rocket's Persian ex and Celebi ex, and 28 Unown numbered with a letter, A to Z, ! and ?, rather than a number. Each Unown can swap itself for another from your deck with its Shuffle Poké-Power.

Cards and rarities

Unseen Forces has 145 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "4/115". The cards print a set symbol, not a set code; the code here is the short one the catalog and TurnZero HQ file the set under.

The printed total is 115. Above it are Rocket's Persian ex and Celebi ex, 116 and 117, and 28 Unown lettered A to Z, ! and ?. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Unseen Forces, bought as singles, cost $13,154.25 on October 22, 2026. That is the fourth most expensive of the sixteen sets in the EX series.

Complete set $13,154.25
Main set, 1 to 115 $10,577.95
30 above 115 (28 Unown, 2 secret) $2,576.30
Top three cards $5,200.00 (40%)

The three most valuable cards, Lugia ex, Raikou ★ and Suicune ★, come to $5,200.00, or 40% of the total. Without them the set costs $7,954.25. Of the 145 cards, 51 were under $2.00, together $48.00; the other 94 add up to $13,106.25.

One card's price is older than October 22, 2026, because the catalog had no newer one: Umbreon ex (112), $500.50 on October 1. It is counted at that price.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, usually a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil, or a stamped promo copy where the catalog prices one lower, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

Unseen Forces is not legal in Standard or Expanded as a set: Expanded starts with the Black & White series in 2011. The catalog marks seven of its 145 cards as legal anyway, four of them in Standard too.

They are Energy Search, Energy Switch, Poké Ball and Potion, legal in both formats; and Energy Recycle System, Sitrus Berry and Warp Energy, legal in Expanded only.

Each shares its name and text with a later, legal printing, which is what makes an older copy playable. Every other card in the set is legal in neither format.
