Crimson Invasion is the fourth Sun & Moon expansion: 111 cards up to the printed total and 13 secret rares above it (112 to 124).

It introduced Ultra Beasts, Pokémon marked as such on the card, thirteen of them, four as Pokémon-GX. Later sets built on them with Trainers like Beast Ring and Ultra Recon Squad. Its Supporters include Gladion, which takes a card from your Prize cards, and Lusamine.

Cards and rarities

Crimson Invasion has 124 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "1/111", next to the set code CIN.

The printed total is 111, so the 13 cards from 112 to 124 are secret rares. The catalog also files two more cards under this set with a letter after the number: Guzzlord-GX (63a) and Regigigas (84a). Each is an alternate printing outside the numbered set, so they aren't counted here. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Crimson Invasion, bought as singles, cost $500.65 on October 22, 2026. That is the 15th most expensive of the sixteen sets in the Sun & Moon series.

Complete set $500.65
Main set, 1 to 111 $270.07
13 secret rares $230.58
Top three cards $155.25 (31%)

The three most valuable cards, two Gyarados-GX cards and Lusamine, come to $155.25, or 31% of the total. Without them the set costs $345.40. Of the 124 cards, 89 were under $2.00, together $31.97; the other 35 add up to $468.68.

Left out: two alternate printings the catalog files under this set with a letter after the number, Guzzlord-GX (63a) and Regigigas (84a). They aren't part of the numbered 124.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

No Crimson Invasion card carries a regulation mark, so none is Standard-legal as printed, apart from its basic Energy cards, which Standard allows from any set. Standard has allowed only the H, I and J marks since April 10, 2026. Every card in Crimson Invasion is legal in Expanded, which takes every set from Black & White on.

A reprint with a legal mark makes older printings of the same card legal again, so check a card's name before you rule it out.
