Pokémon TCG · 2007 Set Guide
The last EX set: Gold Star Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon, eight Pokémon-ex and a Stadium for each of the Hoenn Elite Four.
Power Keepers came out on February 2, 2007, with 108 cards: 81 Pokémon, 16 Trainers and 11 Energy. Its eight Pokémon-ex include Salamence ex, Absol ex and Metagross ex, and it has no Delta Species Pokémon.
Its Pokémon Stars are Flareon ★, Jolteon ★ and Vaporeon ★, numbered 100 to 102 within the printed total of 108, so it has no secret rares. Its Stadiums include one for each Elite Four member, Sidney, Phoebe, Glacia and Drake.
Power Keepers has 108 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "4/108". The cards print a set symbol, not a set code; the code here is the short one the catalog and TurnZero HQ file the set under.
The printed total is 108 and nothing is numbered above it. The three Pokémon Stars are 100 to 102. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. An Elite Four Stadium and a Supporter:
Power Keepers' chase card is Jolteon ★, 101/108, illustrated by Masakazu Fukuda, listed at $1,750.00 on October 22, 2026.
Flareon ★ ($1,700.00) and Vaporeon ★ ($1,399.95) are close behind, and the three together make up most of what the set costs. Salamence ex, at $279.30, is the most valuable Pokémon-ex.
Jolteon ★ is printed once in the set.
Only the exact version is worth its price. The number at the bottom of the card and the rarity symbol beside it tell you which one you pulled. Reading the number and rarity symbol →

These are each card's headline TCGplayer market price on October 22, 2026. Prices can move a long way, most of all in a set's first months, so treat them as a snapshot. Each card's page shows today's price for every variant and its 90-day chart. How Pokémon card prices work →
One copy of every card in Power Keepers, bought as singles, cost $6,595.33 on October 22, 2026. That is the sixth most expensive of the sixteen sets in the EX series.
The three most valuable cards, Jolteon ★, Flareon ★ and Vaporeon ★, come to $4,849.95, or 74% of the total. Without them the set costs $1,745.38. Of the 108 cards, 63 were under $2.00, together $57.65; the other 45 add up to $6,537.68.
Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, usually a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil, or a stamped promo copy where the catalog prices one lower, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.
Power Keepers is not legal in Standard or Expanded as a set: Expanded starts with the Black & White series in 2011. The catalog marks ten of its 108 cards as legal anyway, eight of them in Standard too.
They are the six basic Energy, which are always legal; Energy Switch and Great Ball, legal in both formats; and Energy Recycle System and Warp Energy, legal in Expanded only.
Each card other than basic Energy shares its name and text with a later, legal printing, which is what makes an older copy playable. Every other card in the set is legal in neither format.
February 2, 2007. It was the 16th and last set of the EX series.
108, numbered 1 to 108, with no secret rares.
Jolteon ★ (101/108), listed at $1,750.00 on October 22, 2026, ahead of Flareon ★ at $1,700.00. Few copies trade, so check each card's page.
The Diamond & Pearl series, starting with the Diamond & Pearl set on May 1, 2007, which brought in Pokémon LV.X in place of Pokémon-ex.
