Fury and Body in Riftbound

Fury and Body is Riftbound's most unit-focused pair: Fury attacks early and Body brings units big enough to win combat. As of October 2026 it has four Legends, including Rengar, who won the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier in September 2026.

Fury and Body is Fury (red) with Body (orange). Units that attack early and win fights, with extra runes to cast them. As of October 2026 it has 4 Legends: Volibear, Relentless Storm, Lucian, Purifier, Rengar, Pridestalker and Renekton, Butcher of the Sands.

How Fury and Body plays

Both halves want to win by fighting. Fury's units enter ready and get Assault, and Body grows your runes faster and spends them on efficient units with high Might. A typical game is spent attacking battlefields every turn and using Fury's damage spells to clear the blockers that would stop you.

The Legends all push units. Rengar, Pridestalker gives a unit +1 Might each time you play one. Volibear, Relentless Storm channels an extra rune when you play a Mighty unit (5 or more Might). Lucian, Purifier gives every Equipment Assault, and Renekton, Butcher of the Sands turns 2 Power into 2 Energy for units and unit abilities. Rengar won the Los Angeles Regional Qualifier in late September 2026.

What it does well, and what it doesn't

Strengths

  • Efficient, high-Might units and the extra runes to play them early.
  • Pressure on battlefields from the first turns, with Accelerate and Assault from Fury.
  • Damage spells to clear the way, plus Body's combat tricks.

Weaknesses

  • Little card draw: both Fury and Body list it among their weaknesses.
  • Few spells that do anything outside combat, so the deck has trouble with gear and with units it can't fight.
  • Fury has trouble reaching units that stay in base.

These start from what Riot's Deckbuilding Primer says each domain is good and bad at, which the guide to Riftbound's domains covers in full. A pair's Legend can shift them: a Legend that draws cards helps a pair whose domains don't.

The Fury and BodyLegends

As of October 2026, 4 Legends have exactly these two domains. Each one sets the same card pool, but their abilities point the deck at different plans.

Every Riftbound Legend lists all of them by domain pair, with each one's ability and price.

Fury and Body Signature cards

Every two-domain Fury and Body card printed so far is a Signature card. Each carries one champion's tag, so it only goes in a deck whose Legend has that tag, and a deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total. Riftbound Signature cards explains the rule.

Cards from each domain

Most of a Fury and Body deck is single-domain cards, from either half. These show what each half brings: the first two are Fury, the last two Body.

Building a Fury and Body deck

Start with the Legend, since it decides the plan, then fill the main deck from both domains and split your 12 runes between Fury and Body. A reasonable starting point is to count the Fury and Body symbols in your costs and give more runes to the domain with more of them.

The guide to building a Riftbound deck covers the full rules. TurnZero HQ's Deck Lab marks a deck Not legal if a card or rune is outside your Legend's domains, and the decks players have published are at Riftbound decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
