Riftbound · Domain Pair
Fury and Mind is Riftbound's spell pair. Fury supplies damage and Mind supplies the cards to keep casting it. As of October 2026 it has four Legends, from Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed and Radiance.
Fury and Mind is Fury (red) with Mind (blue). Spells and damage: Fury's burn backed by Mind's card draw. As of October 2026 it has 4 Legends: Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void, Rumble, Mechanized Menace, Jhin, Virtuoso and Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time.
This is the pair that most rewards casting spells. Fury's removal deals damage and Mind's shrinks units with -Might, so between them most small and mid-sized units can be answered with a spell. Mind also fixes Fury's biggest gap, card draw, which is what lets a deck built on spells keep going after the first few turns.
The Legends show how wide the pair is. Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void adds 1 Power of any domain as a Reaction, usable only for spells. Jhin, Virtuoso rewards spells you spend 4 or more on and eventually channels 4 runes. Rumble, Mechanized Menace is the exception, a unit deck that gives its Mechs Shield, and Radiance's Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time makes a unit cheaper for a turn at the cost of killing it at end of turn.
Strengths
Weaknesses
These start from what Riot's Deckbuilding Primer says each domain is good and bad at, which the guide to Riftbound's domains covers in full. A pair's Legend can shift them: a Legend that draws cards helps a pair whose domains don't.
As of October 2026, 4 Legends have exactly these two domains. Each one sets the same card pool, but their abilities point the deck at different plans.

Every Riftbound Legend lists all of them by domain pair, with each one's ability and price.
Every two-domain Fury and Mind card printed so far is a Signature card. Each carries one champion's tag, so it only goes in a deck whose Legend has that tag, and a deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total. Riftbound Signature cards explains the rule.
Most of a Fury and Mind deck is single-domain cards, from either half. These show what each half brings: the first two are Fury, the last two Mind.
Start with the Legend, since it decides the plan, then fill the main deck from both domains and split your 12 runes between Fury and Mind. A reasonable starting point is to count the Fury and Mind symbols in your costs and give more runes to the domain with more of them.
The guide to building a Riftbound deck covers the full rules. TurnZero HQ's Deck Lab marks a deck Not legal if a card or rune is outside your Legend's domains, and the decks players have published are at Riftbound decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
As of October 2026, 4: Kai'Sa, Daughter of the Void, Rumble, Mechanized Menace, Jhin, Virtuoso and Ekko, Boy Who Shattered Time. A Legend sets your deck's two domains, so these are the only Legends that can lead a Fury and Mind deck.
Any card whose domains are all Fury or Mind: cards with only Fury, only Mind or both, plus cards with no domain, such as battlefields. Every two-domain Fury and Mind card printed so far is a Signature card, which also needs your Legend's champion tag, and all 12 of your runes must be Fury or Mind.
TurnZero HQ's Riftbound deck builder marks each deck Legal or Not legal for its format as you build, and shows your rune odds. Free to start.
