Riftbound · Domain Pair
Fury and Chaos pairs Fury's aggression with Chaos's movement and use of the trash. As of October 2026 it is tied for the most Legends of any pair, six, and it is the pair of Annie, one of the four Legends in the Proving Grounds starter box.
Fury and Chaos is Fury (red) with Chaos (purple). Fast attacks, movement and second chances. Six Legends, Annie and Jinx among them. As of October 2026 it has 6 Legends: Annie, Dark Child, Jinx, Loose Cannon, Draven, Glorious Executioner, Pyke, Bloodharbor Ripper, Zed, Master of Shadows and Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert.
Fury attacks and Chaos makes the attacks hard to stop. Chaos moves units around the board, returns them to hand, plays cards from the trash and digs for the card it needs, so a Fury and Chaos deck can hit the battlefield the opponent left open rather than the one they defend. Fury adds the damage spells and the units that enter ready.
Six Legends give it more range than most pairs. Jinx, Loose Cannon draws a card at the start of your Beginning Phase when you have one or fewer cards in hand, which suits a deck that spends its cards fast. Draven, Glorious Executioner draws when you win a combat. Annie, Dark Child readies 2 runes at the end of your turn. Pyke, Bloodharbor Ripper returns a unit to your hand and makes Gold, Zed, Master of Shadows rewards banishing your own cards, and Radiance's Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert makes Bomb tokens.
Strengths
Weaknesses
These start from what Riot's Deckbuilding Primer says each domain is good and bad at, which the guide to Riftbound's domains covers in full. A pair's Legend can shift them: a Legend that draws cards helps a pair whose domains don't.
As of October 2026, 6 Legends have exactly these two domains. Each one sets the same card pool, but their abilities point the deck at different plans.

Most of a Fury and Chaos deck is single-domain cards, from either half. These show what each half brings: the first two are Fury, the last two Chaos.
Start with the Legend, since it decides the plan, then fill the main deck from both domains and split your 12 runes between Fury and Chaos. A reasonable starting point is to count the Fury and Chaos symbols in your costs and give more runes to the domain with more of them.
The guide to building a Riftbound deck covers the full rules. TurnZero HQ's Deck Lab marks a deck Not legal if a card or rune is outside your Legend's domains, and the decks players have published are at Riftbound decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
As of October 2026, 6: Annie, Dark Child, Jinx, Loose Cannon, Draven, Glorious Executioner, Pyke, Bloodharbor Ripper, Zed, Master of Shadows and Ziggs, Hexplosives Expert. A Legend sets your deck's two domains, so these are the only Legends that can lead a Fury and Chaos deck.
Any card whose domains are all Fury or Chaos: cards with only Fury, only Chaos or both, plus cards with no domain, such as battlefields. Every two-domain Fury and Chaos card printed so far is a Signature card, which also needs your Legend's champion tag, and all 12 of your runes must be Fury or Chaos.
It is a good first pair because the plan is clear: attack, and move to the battlefield the opponent can't defend. Annie, Dark Child is one of the four Legends in Proving Grounds, Riot's starter box, so it is easy to start with.
TurnZero HQ's Riftbound deck builder marks each deck Legal or Not legal for its format as you build, and shows your rune odds. Free to start.
