What a Purple and green Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Is

The top half is purple because the monster is a Fusion Monster, with its Fusion Materials on the first line of the lower text box. The bottom half is Spell green because it can also sit in a Pendulum Zone.

Purple and green is an Extra Deck combination. The card never goes in your Main Deck.

How Fusion Pendulum Monsters Play

You cannot place a Fusion Pendulum Monster in a Pendulum Zone from your hand, because it is never in your hand. It gets there from the field: most say that if the card in the Monster Zone is destroyed, you can place it in your Pendulum Zone. Supreme King Z-ARC is one.

If it leaves the field another way and would go to the Graveyard, it goes to your Extra Deck face up instead, as every Pendulum Monster does. Whether it can then be Pendulum Summoned depends on its text: Odd-Eyes Venom Dragon says it must be Fusion Summoned and can then be Pendulum Summoned, while Supreme King Z-ARC must be Fusion Summoned.

A monster Pendulum Summoned from the face-up Extra Deck must go to an Extra Monster Zone or a zone a Link Monster points to.
