Cards and rarities

Fates Collide has 125 cards. Every card shows its number over the printed total along the bottom, as in "1/124", next to the set code FCO.

The printed total is 124, so only Alakazam-EX, 125/124, is a secret rare. The catalog also files four more cards under this set with a letter after the number: Regirock-EX (43a), Zygarde-EX (54a), N (105a) and Shauna (111a). Each is an alternate printing outside the numbered set, so they aren't counted here. Set completion in TurnZero HQ counts a set against its printed total and keeps the secret rares apart, so finishing the main set and chasing the cards above it read as two separate goals. What a complete set costs

One copy of every card in Fates Collide, bought as singles, cost $848.24 on October 22, 2026. That is the 11th most expensive of the fifteen sets in the XY series.

Complete set $848.24
Main set, 1 to 124 $682.37
1 secret rare $165.87
Top three cards $398.24 (47%)

The three most valuable cards, Alakazam-EX, Umbreon-EX and M Alakazam-EX, come to $398.24, or 47% of the total. Without them the set costs $450.00. Of the 125 cards, 92 were under $2.00, together $33.08; the other 33 add up to $815.16.

Left out: four alternate printings the catalog files under this set with a letter after the number, Regirock-EX (43a), Zygarde-EX (54a), N (105a) and Shauna (111a). They aren't part of the numbered 125.

Each card is counted at its cheapest priced variant, a Normal copy rather than a Reverse Holofoil where both exist, at its TCGplayer market price. This is what it costs to buy the set as singles. It is not what opening packs returns, and not what a complete set would sell for, which after fees and the many cards worth cents would be noticeably less.

Playing it

No Fates Collide card carries a regulation mark, so none is Standard-legal as printed. Standard has allowed only the H, I and J marks since April 10, 2026. Every card in Fates Collide is legal in Expanded, which takes every set from Black & White on.

A reprint with a legal mark makes older printings of the same card legal again, so check a card's name before you rule it out.
