Green/Purple in the One Piece TCG

Green/Purple is the most DON!!-focused pair. Green sets DON!! active and Purple adds DON!! from the DON!! deck, so the deck reaches its expensive Characters early and often spends more DON!! in a turn than it has.

Green/Purple is a deck led by a Green/Purple Leader, so it can play any Green card and any Purple card. The DON!! pair: Green readies DON!!, Purple adds it, and the deck plays big costs early.

As of October 2026, Bandai has printed three Green/Purple Leaders. Two are legal in Standard, one has rotated out with block 1.

How Green/Purple Plays

Lim (OP09-022) changes how your Characters enter: they are played rested. In return, once per turn she rests 3 DON!! to add a DON!! from your DON!! deck and play an ODYSSEY Character costing 5 or less from your hand. ODYSSEY cards like Adio (OP09-023) set DON!! active again, so the rested DON!! comes back.

Monkey.D.Luffy (EB02-010) pays DON!! −2 to set 2 DON!! active and gain +1000 power through your opponent's next turn, as long as every Character you control is Straw Hat Crew. Green's readying and Purple's DON!! −X costs meet in that one effect.

What each color does on its own, counted from the card text, is in Green and Purple on the colors page.

What It Does Well, and What It Doesn't

Strengths

  • The most DON!! control of any pair, since both colors move DON!!.
  • Expensive Characters come down early: a 9-cost Adio on an ODYSSEY Leader sets 3 DON!! active as it enters.
  • Green's resting keeps opposing Blockers out of the way of your large attackers.

Weaknesses

  • Lim's Characters enter rested, so they can be attacked the turn they arrive.
  • Only two Leaders were legal in Standard as of October 2026, both tied to a type.
  • Neither color draws much, so the deck runs on what it plays rather than what it draws.

Green/Purple Leaders

Your Leader is the only two-color card in a Green/Purple deck: every two-color card Bandai has printed is a Leader. These are the ones legal in Standard as of October 2026, with what each one asks of the deck.

Rotated out of Standard with block 1 on April 1, 2026, and still playable in casual games: Donquixote Doflamingo (OP04-019).

How Leaders work, and the ones that change deckbuilding rules, is in One Piece Leader cards.

Cards Worth Knowing

The rest of the deck is single-color cards. These show what the pair's Leaders are built to use; they are examples from Standard-legal sets, not a list of the best cards.

Where to Start

No English starter deck has a Green/Purple Leader as of October 2026, so this pair is built from booster cards. The starter deck guide lists the boxes in Green or Purple if you want a one-color deck to start from.

To build one, pick the Leader first and fill the 50 cards in its colors; the steps are in how to build a One Piece deck. TurnZero HQ's One Piece Deck Lab flags any card that doesn't share a color with your Leader, and decks players have published are at One Piece decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
