Mind and Order in Riftbound

Mind and Order is a control pair with real removal. Mind draws cards and Order kills units outright and fills the board. As of October 2026 it has five Legends, Lux from Proving Grounds among them.

Mind and Order is Mind (blue) with Order (yellow). Kill spells and card draw: Lux, Viktor, Renata Glasc, LeBlanc and Seraphine. As of October 2026 it has 5 Legends: Lux, Lady of Luminosity, Viktor, Herald of the Arcane, Renata Glasc, Chem-Baroness, LeBlanc, Deceiver and Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress.

How Mind and Order plays

Order's kill spells answer what Mind's -Might can't, and Mind's card draw keeps the answers coming. Order also makes many small units, so the deck has a board to defend battlefields with while its spells do the work.

The Legends cover several plans. Lux, Lady of Luminosity draws a card when you play a spell costing 5 or more, and Viktor, Herald of the Arcane makes a 1 Might Recruit token every turn you pay for it. Renata Glasc, Chem-Baroness makes Gold when you hold, LeBlanc, Deceiver copies a unit at a battlefield, and Radiance's Seraphine, Starry-Eyed Songstress makes spells cheaper by exhausting three of your units.

What it does well, and what it doesn't

Strengths

  • Kill spells from Order and card draw from Mind, the pieces a control deck needs.
  • Tokens from Viktor, LeBlanc and Order's cards to hold battlefields.
  • Rewards for expensive spells through Lux and Seraphine.

Weaknesses

  • Few ways to move units: both Mind and Order list it as a weakness.
  • Mind's units are less efficient, so the board relies on Order's small ones.
  • Order has trouble with an opponent's many small units.

These start from what Riot's Deckbuilding Primer says each domain is good and bad at, which the guide to Riftbound's domains covers in full. A pair's Legend can shift them: a Legend that draws cards helps a pair whose domains don't.

The Mind and OrderLegends

As of October 2026, 5 Legends have exactly these two domains. Each one sets the same card pool, but their abilities point the deck at different plans.

Every Riftbound Legend lists all of them by domain pair, with each one's ability and price.

Mind and Order Signature cards

Every two-domain Mind and Order card printed so far is a Signature card. Each carries one champion's tag, so it only goes in a deck whose Legend has that tag, and a deck can hold at most 3 Signature cards in total. Riftbound Signature cards explains the rule.

Cards from each domain

Most of a Mind and Order deck is single-domain cards, from either half. These show what each half brings: the first two are Mind, the last two Order.

Building a Mind and Order deck

Start with the Legend, since it decides the plan, then fill the main deck from both domains and split your 12 runes between Mind and Order. A reasonable starting point is to count the Mind and Order symbols in your costs and give more runes to the domain with more of them.

The guide to building a Riftbound deck covers the full rules. TurnZero HQ's Deck Lab marks a deck Not legal if a card or rune is outside your Legend's domains, and the decks players have published are at Riftbound decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
