One Piece Card Game · Color Pairs
Red/Blue adds Blue's card draw to Red's power. Most of its Leaders cut an opposing Character's power by 2000 and then either draw a card or turn a card from your hand into defense.
Red/Blue is a deck led by a Red/Blue Leader, so it can play any Red card and any Blue card. Red's power cuts with Blue's draw and hand control, trading cards for tempo.
As of October 2026, Bandai has printed six Red/Blue Leaders. Five are legal in Standard, one has rotated out with block 1.
Red lowers power and K.O.s low-power Characters; Blue draws, looks at the top of your deck and returns Characters to hand. The overlap is the −2000 power effect: Marco (OP08-002) draws a card, puts one from your hand on the top or bottom of your deck, and gives an opposing Character −2000, and Nefeltari Vivi (EB03-001) rests herself for −2000 and gives one of your Characters [Rush].
Portgas.D.Ace (OP13-002) is the defensive version. On your opponent's attack you can trash a card to give an opposing Leader or Character −2000 for the battle, and with a DON!! he draws when you take damage or lose a Character with 6000 base power or more. He has 3 Life instead of the usual 4, so the deck leans on that card flow to keep up. Lucy (OP15-002) trashes Events and Stages from hand for power and draws after a 3-cost Event.
What each color does on its own, counted from the card text, is in Red and Blue on the colors page.

How Leaders work, and the ones that change deckbuilding rules, is in One Piece Leader cards.
The rest of the deck is single-color cards. These show what the pair's Leaders are built to use; they are examples from Standard-legal sets, not a list of the best cards.
No English starter deck has a Red/Blue Leader as of October 2026, so this pair is built from booster cards. The starter deck guide lists the boxes in Red or Blue if you want a one-color deck to start from.
To build one, pick the Leader first and fill the 50 cards in its colors; the steps are in how to build a One Piece deck. TurnZero HQ's One Piece Deck Lab flags any card that doesn't share a color with your Leader, and decks players have published are at One Piece decks, searchable by deck name or by a card in the deck.
It cuts an opposing Character's power with Red effects and draws with Blue ones. Most Red/Blue Leaders give −2000 power and then draw a card or turn a card from your hand into defense.
