What's in the box

These are the cards that decide how the deck plays. Each one links to its card page, with its current price.

How it plays

This Miraidon ex is the Temporal Forces Dragon card, not the Lightning one from the Miraidon ex League Battle Deck. Cyber Drive does 220 and can't be used two turns in a row; Repulsion Bolt does 60, or 160 if your opponent's Active Pokémon already has damage counters on it. The two attacks alternate well.

Future Booster Energy Capsule gives a Future Pokémon no Retreat Cost and 20 more damage against the Active Pokémon. With every Pokémon retreating for free, Iron Valiant ex's Tachyon Bits (2 damage counters on any Pokémon whenever it moves from your Bench to the Active Spot) triggers often, and those counters switch on Repulsion Bolt.

Is it Standard legal?

Partly. Miraidon ex and Future Booster Energy Capsule have H-mark prints and are legal. Iron Valiant ex, Techno Radar and Professor Turo's Scenario carry the G mark and rotated on April 10, 2026.

Every upgrade card below carries an H, I or J regulation mark, the marks legal in Standard since the April 10, 2026 rotation, checked against our Pokémon card catalog on October 10, 2026. Basic Energy is always legal. See which cards are legal in each format for how regulation marks and reprints decide it.

Upgrade path 1: Keep the Future core, replace the rest

Miraidon ex and the Capsules stay. Crispin replaces the rotated Supporters for Energy: it finds a Lightning and a Psychic Energy and attaches one. Prime Catcher, an ACE SPEC, both pulls up an opposing Benched Pokémon and switches your own Active, which is two moves in one card for a deck that already retreats for free.

What comes out: Iron Valiant ex and its two non-ex copies, Techno Radar and Professor Turo's Scenario.

Upgrade path 2: Make Repulsion Bolt hit every turn

Repulsion Bolt is 160 for two Energy whenever the Active Pokémon is already damaged. Without Iron Valiant ex, the damage has to come from elsewhere: Dusknoir's Cursed Blast places 13 damage counters on one Pokémon (and Knocks Out Dusknoir), and Maximum Belt adds 50 to either attack against a Pokémon ex.

What comes out: Two Iron Jugulis and one Iron Hands.
