What's in the box

These are the cards that decide how the deck plays. Each one links to its card page, with its current price.

How it plays

Zapdos ex's Multishot Lightning does 120 to the Active Pokémon and 90 to one of your opponent's Benched Pokémon that already has damage counters on it. Voltaic Float gives it no Retreat Cost while it has a Lightning Energy attached.

The box includes the Scarlet & Violet Miraidon ex, whose Tandem Unit benches two Basic Lightning Pokémon each turn, plus Electric Generator (up to 2 Lightning Energy from the top 5 cards onto your Benched Lightning Pokémon) and a Pawmot line. It is the closest a Deluxe deck came to a League Battle Deck's speed.

Is it Standard legal?

No. Zapdos ex (151), Miraidon ex (Scarlet & Violet), Electric Generator, Ryme and Bravery Charm carry the G mark and rotated on April 10, 2026. It plays in Expanded.

Every upgrade card below carries an H, I or J regulation mark, the marks legal in Standard since the April 10, 2026 rotation, checked against our Pokémon card catalog on October 10, 2026. Basic Energy is always legal. See which cards are legal in each format for how regulation marks and reprints decide it.

Upgrade path 1: Keep it for Expanded

The deck works as it is in Expanded. Prime Catcher gives it the ACE SPEC it lacks, and Boss's Orders lets Multishot Lightning choose which Benched Pokémon to finish.

What comes out: Two Bravery Charm.

Upgrade path 2: Rebuild with Pikachu ex for Standard

The Standard version keeps the idea (many Lightning Basics, one big attacker) with current cards. Pikachu ex's Pika-Pika Parade puts any number of Basic Pokémon from your deck onto your Bench for one Energy, and its Thunderbolt does 200. The current Miraidon ex's Hadron Spark does 240 against a Pokémon ex. Prism Energy provides every type on a Basic Pokémon.
